Like all of the past, art history can be understood,
pondered upon, and thought about upon significantly more easily when broken up
into periods. These eras are often based on obvious crazes in myriad areas of
the artistic practice, such as frequent subjects, manners of expression,
functions played by various types of Reproduction
Paintings, and exact
applications of hue.
Styles in art times past are often a reproduction of
whatever was going on historically and socially at the time as well, often
giving a documentation of what people may have been thinking, feeling, or
reflecting on, as well as how they were expressing those things at any given
point in the era of human life. Where certain artists match into the epoch
depends on many issues, including but not confined to the time the lived, using
what medium they selected to express themselves.
And what if any schools of thought they bought in to.
However, when it comes to modern art, the method becomes somewhat more
complicated. In fact, Clementina Cote (Cleo) herself very much did not like the
idea of categorizing something as nebulous art, since she believed art by its
very meaning was supposed to be about expressing a openness from such things -
a pure, unchained outburst of creative energy.
